Pros

large company, many divisions, many opportunities across the country. Great help desk, operating and financial systems web-based so very easy to do extra work from home or work on weekends without having to go into the office.

Cons

Large turn over for unit accountants. Bank rec department understaffed this creates an added burden to Unit managers. Payroll dept. always in meetings the hours before payroll needs to be submitted. Myfi always has problems or runs extremely slow when closing week/period. Many unrealistic promises to client with new business (They sell the dream, Unit managers/DM's live the nightmare ) Most peers have myopic view of the business due to always running short. Work expectation of Upper management is +/- 12 hour days. This would not be so bad if working on special projects or helping another account, yet this seems to be the minimum expectation for the everyday account. Compensation does not meet the work life balance expected. It is apparent, like most large companies, the only important thing is the stock evaluation.

Pros

Quality of Life, Great Leadership Team, Fantastic Growth Opportunities.

Cons

Employee incentives could use some improvement. Better Support for units training new employees on all levels of the business. Sometimes we are forced to throw people in positions with minimal training & we spend more time being reactive instead of proactive.
