Pros

Swedish management/managers are awesome managers. EXpat contracts from Sweden was most rewarding experience i had.

Cons

Ericsson is a Swedish company but run by other nationals and now fall to those bad companies. Too much layoff and lots a racial issues. Discriminate in tenure of service. The longer your tenure is the most likely you are target for layoff. Do Not value service!

Pros

No pros available that I can tell.

Cons

I was recently released from my contract with Ericsson with zero heads up from my managers. They moved the contracts offshore to Mexico and didn't let any of us know. I had to get a call from my recruiter letting me know that I didn't have a job anymore. None of my managers called me to explain the situation. I find this kind of behavior to be cowardly and disrespectful. If this is how they operate with people on contract I shudder to think how heartless this company must be with all of their employees. I'd stay far away from these folks.

Pros

- Flexible business hours - Good vacation schema - Pretty good employee performance management review mechanism - Pretty good low level mgmt

Cons

- If you are eager to learn, this is no place for you - Job is not challanging, after some time it becomes template - There are many, many people with less competence, but their pay is bigger because they have more years of experiance - A lot of people are not competent, neither they show interest in learning new stuff - If you show some "extra-mile effort" you'll get more work, for same salary - Employment process doesn't include any job relevant knowledge check, but rather irrelevant IQ and personality tests - Advance in terms of position is impossible if you aren't good with certain people, no matter how good you are - Salary grows based "on inertia" rather then on your results and knowledge - Lack of training and relevant development courses - Bad canteen
