      Challenging work environment and great technical direction from senior management. . .. . . . .. . . .. ..

      Cons

      Compensation is low by industry standards .Also you have to deal with certain things which come with working for a big company where the wheels move very slowly.

      Pros

      A lot of opportunity exists in their marketplace. They commit resources where there is opportunity. As a European company, they balance time-off better than most American companies.

      Cons

      Constant reprioritization. A focus on numbers to the point that over estimating financial results was common in order to keep a sales unit from not being disbanded before they had the opportunity to address a marketplace.

      Good company for trainees and people who don't care about working too hard for their paycheck.

      Pros

      It is hiring a lot of trainees, giving them starting work experience. It depends on department you get into, some are terrible, some are great. Mine is not that good. People very rarely stay overtime (which is almost never paid), although on the other side i heard some departments work even over weekends. Atmosphere is casual, not very stressful, which makes it good for trainees.

      Cons

      Low motivation in general, salaries are low, no space for advancement. Managment is unprofessional and don't care about individuals as for the project. Another bad side is that as individual your work and effort will not be seen or appreciated. In the last year due to "recession" all team building days, kick offs, company day, and other similar event are cancelled, and there is very little chance you will get send to some additional training (certificates etc).
