Pros

Payment is ok. They give you a good health insurance. Managers can be flexible with schedules when you need it.

Cons

You have to travel a lot outside of the country, sometimes for long periods of time. They do not always have the enough human resources for the projects and long maintenance sessions, so that people is overloaded with work.

Strong Company but Annual Layoffs are Brutal

Pros

The company itself is very strong worldwide, even against growing competition. It has an extremely technical workforce with a fair work environment. Benefits are extremely good.

Cons

The US branch of the company mandates annual layoffs of 10% or more for every department. There have been many extremely good people let go for no reason just to meet this number; they certainly were not laid off due to performance. Mandating that you eliminate 10% of your highly experience workforce year over year is disastrous, and the impacts are already being seen internally, yet the practice continues.
