At Ericsson you can choose if you would like to be a specialist in your line of work or if you want to broaden your competence; both to other technologies and/or your leadership skills. If I look five years from now, I would like to continue as a manager at some level, either as a project manager or line manager.

Cons

Ericsson great corporation but not so friendly to Silicon Valley ways of working

Great medical benifits and ability to work globally inside the company

Cons

Does not use Silcon Valley work tools such as Agile / Oracle. You must use propriatary Ericssson tools controlled in Sweden. Tools are very slow in USA but your still expected to produce at Silicon Valley pace. Ericsson management can be very arrogant there way is the only way and other opinions are looked down on.

Ericsson a company since 1870 is rich in heritage and culture and if you are on networking domain this is one of the best place to work

Cons

Work place facilities and policies are not up to the mark as other product companies like Cisco or Juniper
