1>Pathetic management and most managers are good for nothing 2>Poor work culture.Especially Chennai Center simply sucks.Managers and Employees have no professionalism. 3>Lot of politics at higher management n middle level Management. 4>Never paid the 100% of promised variable pay 5>Ericsson is truly global company with good standers but Chennai R& D center people talk in Tamil,not just at work place but in meetings,reviews all stages of software development. 6>Managers seems to be supportive if u ask for job change,location change,better work etc.. but they back stab you at the end.Even if u get selected by different business unit,different product,better work manager wont let employees move from their current project.

I worked in the NA headquarters, PLano Texas, depressing from the first day. I regretted joining this company a week into it. There is no guidance whatsoever, a mentor is assigned but most of them are preoccupied with their own work and have little interest in new employees. Asked to go through some documents and begin working. For a masters in Electrical Engineering from a top tier university, I took up the job as a systems integration engineer out of necessity. I quit the company 6 months in and am extremely happy working for a different company (I wont name the company but it is in the Forbes 25). I plead everyone looking for a job in Ericsson to avoid it like the plague.
