Pros

The pay was pretty good for the level of responsibility I had at Equifax and the commute was not horrible.

Cons

Incompetent management, totally political environment, long work hours, shifting requirements, constant drive to cut costs, short staffed, no product vision, not open to new ideas or methods of operation. Management constantly made every employee feel that their job was at risk in order to "enhance productivity". Overall, just a miserable pit of a place to work.

Pros

There are a few capable Sr. Management people - very few. There is lots of communication from above on the corporate direction and how 'important' employees are to the company. On the surface, it seems to be a friendly place.

Cons

The peer group in sales is filled with some great people who really do try to do the right thing meaning most of them are client focused. It's hard to be happy about the salary aspect of things in sales because the comp plan changes every year, and not for the better. Layoffs are of concern and employees are afraid all the time. Lovely environment. A number of Inept VP level management - got there by kissing up to their bosses. When even their boss can't save them they're moved around instead of moved out. Layoff fate is reserved for tenured employees who have institutional knowledge and experience. Beware of the politics.

Pros

The name is the best thing about the company.

Cons

Imagine being out with the flu and a hospital note excusing you but per my manager and HR they do not accept doctors notes, for the 3 days I was out sick with a fever I got an occurrence for each day. When management and all of the higher up people are sick, etc they get to work from home, the point system does not count against them! More then half of the entire I-9 department was coming to work with covid because they did not want to miss days because they would be held against them. Nothing is good about this company but the name. Its so much more I can post about this company, the employees are just slaves! So come to work, the people that are sick they can't force them to wear a mask, so keep spreading more germs. If you are not a manager or higher here there is no appreciation at all! $21.65 is nothing to be excited about. The pay is horrible, no bonuses, managers have their picks for everything. The turn over rate is high!
