      Decent place to work if you fully know the risks

      Pros

      Good pay, a team for almost every situation, good people to work with. Great opportunity to work with people around the world (depending on role). 401k match is nice too. I did not have any problem taking time off when needed. Supervisor was wonderful to work with.

      Cons

      They'll tell you you're family but you're not, don't expect to hear any bad news during the weekly CEO report, finding the right person to talk to can be the most difficult part of your project. Equifax is recommended if you accept that they're like every other corporation that regularly does layoffs and there's a decent chance it will be your turn some day. Especially if you're bumping the ceiling on your paygrade.

      Pros

      Competitive pay and schedule flexibility depending on departments.

      Cons

      Leadership lacks fundamental understanding of the technology side of the business. There's a disparity of understanding between the folks calling the shots and the folks doing actual technical work, upper leadership making promises that they can't keep and making it a problem for people under their org. No work life balance for anyone in the SRE role as they are stretched thin on a weekly basis. Management thinking it's acceptable to drop piles of work on people last minute on a Friday.

      Decent pay, not great though

      Cons

      -Lots of finger pointing and back stabbing. -Little to no technology stack, reliant on poorly designed homegrown systems. -Lack of strategic vision coupled with a “we have always done it this way mantra” -Fear based upper management style stymies innovation - Manual,processes which are never followed.
