Pros

easyJet has got me back on my crew feet after experiencing and leaving Ryanair. It's brought me the town where I met my wife to be and the only reason I'm up and down about it is depending on the first day compared to the last day of the work week. Gatwick is the 'strictest' base but it's not as bad as Stansted compared with Ryanair. Pros: -Most crews will be lovely to work with. Great days. Managers not too overbearing at all. - Confirmed flights - A literal Tesco Meal Deal everyday with 1-2 soft drinks, pretty much unlimited tea or coffee. Chocolate biscuits or shortbread everyday (but you have to be ready to eat unhealthy if you want it). Big variety of Hot meals (not healthy but you'll be fine and some are delicious. Comes with cheese, crackers in PM bread roll + butter for both shifts and yogurt for cooked breakfasts which can be egg, bacon, sausage, mushroom, pancake, spinach, fritatta, hash brown, porridge) - Cheap Standby, Confirmed fares and £5 hold baggage for 3 family and friends. 20x switchable - Crew is the best it could be, in the UK and having flown on many EJU (easyJet Europe) flights I'm sure the crew in Europe truly love their lives in the Sunshine with no holiday flights. - Unlimited swapping of flights on facebook - Roster that works for you most of the time - Ability to bid for days off - Easiest hiring process -Allows anyone to experience flying as crew who is fit. Including oldest crew allowable. No max age. -lots of opportunities in internal jobs

Cons

- no help for upgrading to be a pilot unless you speak to individual pilots - lots of tools for promotion and recognition incl shopping vouchers but cabin manager upgrades are slow at the moment - poor customer service training - friendly rather than super professional crew. vocabulary and general crew chat is low cost so no VIP training or teaching for service delivery. - A culture of everyone wanting to go home quick at the end of work so the last people off get pressured (still better than BA) - 5 days on can be a killer - Disgusting passengers on Holiday flights, some of the worst of the British public -the kettles don't get cleaned - easyJet doesn't focus on super cleanliness. The toilets don't get bleached ever. - Cleaning the aircraft by hand (not the worst in the world) but not luxurious - 9 minute turnarounds

Pros

-Competitive pay and benefits for Malta aviation industry. -Skilled colleagues and opportunities for technical learning.

Cons

-Serious reports of bullying, harassment, and neglect of staff mental health were escalated to top management, but rarely result in action. -The SUSO (Speak Up Speak Out) system does not work as advertised; staff complaints raised through SUSO are ignored or lead to retaliation, not resolution. -EasyJet’s “zero tolerance” policy on discrimination, bullying, and harassment is not upheld—investigations are slow, lack follow-through, and rarely result in change. -Evidence of disability discrimination at the highest levels has been presented; these concerns are dismissed or left unaddressed by senior management. -Employees who report problems or ask for reasonable adjustments face career setbacks and poor treatment. -Overall, morale is very low among those affected by discrimination or who have used internal reporting channels.
