Pros
There are still a number of real interesting challenges and new problems to solve, especially given the size of eBay. Depending on the team within eBay, there is still the abiility to make a significant impact on the business.
Cons
Communication from upper management is non existent, especially horrible in the face of layoffs and poor company performance. Priorities shift constantly and decisions are seemingly being made without logic and reason. Confusion is at an all time high, as processes are being dissolved to become more "nimble" but there is nothing to replace it- causing a free for all that grinds positive progress to a halt.
