Pros

I cannot think of any

Cons

Hi turnover rate. Terrible base pay, & commission. Ten dollars per lead? (well below industry, do your homework mgt) The lead routing system is awful. You end up competing with your peers for the unreachable amount of dials you are required to make. We should be competing with our competitors, NOT our teammates. It promotes BAD behavior. Mgrs focus on quantity not quality. Personally have witnessed this on all too many occasions. Not an easy job If you have family commitments.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We're disappointed to hear about your negative experience as a Sales Development Representative (SDR) at ZoomInfo. We take your concerns about turnover rate, compensation, and the lead routing system seriously. We are continuously evaluating our processes to ensure they promote collaboration and success and in fact we are restructuring the New Business Sales Team so that every rep is focused on a specific segment. We expect this to drive improvement in win rates, ASP increases in up-market segments, better retention downmarket, improved enablement, and more role specialization. Regarding compensation, we apologize if there was any miscommunication during the recruitment process. We strive to provide accurate information to all candidates. As you know a seller's OTE reflects your total POSSIBLE commission plus your base salary pay so at the time of your conversation with your Recruiter that may have been the case. We appreciate your feedback and are committed to making positive changes.

Pros

ZoomInfo has an incredible company culture that truly stands out-- even working remotely, you feel connected and part of something bigger. The company has a strong focus on being a leader in its space and is constantly innovating, which keeps the work exciting and meaningful. There is a genuine willingness to let ideas and concepts flourish, and employees are empowered to contribute in real ways. I am coming up on four years here, which speaks for itself-- this is a place where you can grow, get promoted quickly, and build a real career. The development resources are outstanding, including McKinsey Leadership programs, internal leadership courses, and LinkedIn Learning. Managers are supportive and invested in your success which makes showing up to work exciting

Cons

At times, communication between departments can be a challenge at the individual contributor level, which can make cross-functional collaboration feel a bit siloed. Additionally, there is still work to be done around diversity in leadership-- increasing representation of people of color and women in leadership roles would make an already great culture even stronger.
