Pros

Honestly some of the most dedicated, best and brightest I've worked with. High expectations and high rewards, with world class healthcare and benefits.

Cons

Henry Schuck, CEO, is, quite frankly, a mean-spirited bully. The free space on the bingo card during all-hands meetings is him asking some group of people to leave the company if they disagree with him. First thing he did when he rose to power is to cut the power cords of any gaming machines in the office. Now, just today, he proceeded to openly mock anyone who didn't want to return to office, and suggest they get in touch with their manager so they could arrange their exit from the company. He said it all with a mocking smirk while denigrating anywhere you would go as "shabby". I would think he would have a little humility on the day his company lost a third of it's value, but apparently that's everyone else's fault as well.

Hey, First, I am always working on my delivery - sometimes I’m making the right point, but I’m not doing it in the way it lands best. On your comments here — I do believe in RTO, and we’ve had an RTO policy since the beginning of the year, while it has been mandatory since then, I’ve tried to give everyone time to adjust to a new normal. We have come to the point where I believe the benefits of the RTO policy outweigh additional time for adjustment. I want to be as transparent as I can be when I address the company, so while I didn’t mean to mock or be smug about it, I did want to be honest. Of course I also personally bear the responsibility for the company’s performance - I set the strategy, I hire the team to execute, I hold them accountable. If the business is not doing what we expected it to do, that’s my fault. At the same time, I want to make sure everyone knows the areas we should be focused on - that invariably means we have to review areas where we didn’t show up as well as we could have - it’s like watching game tape in sports - we don’t just watch a highlight reel, we focus on the areas we could have improved. When I do that - I’m not passing blame or responsibility, I’m making sure we are aligned on areas we can improve on and letting everyone at the company know I’m working on improving those areas. But again, on delivery, I’ll continue to work on it. - Henry

Pros

ZoomInfo has genuinely been unlike any organization I have worked for in my career, and I say that as someone who has seen a lot of workplace cultures up close. It is literally my job. From day one, I was given full autonomy to run my desk with agency and ownership. There is no micromanagement here. If you are a subject matter expert in your field, senior leaders will actually defer to you, listen to you, and trust your judgment. That kind of partnership w/ hiring managers is rare, and it makes a real difference in how you show up every day. The peer support has been unmatched. There is no gatekeeping, no withholding of information, no politics around getting ahead. My colleagues genuinely want to see each other succeed. It is a true "rising tide lifts all boats" culture. When one person wins, we all win. The environment is supportive, encouraging, and welcoming in a way I have not experienced anywhere else. What also sets ZoomInfo apart is the investment senior leadership makes in equipping their teams for success. We are given the tools and tech stack needed to do our jobs at the highest level and there is absolutely no skimping here. The sky truly is the limit when it comes to learning, growing, and leveraging technology that empowers you to do a stellar job. Whether you are in sales, engineering, or talent acquisition, you will have access to best-in-class resources that amplify your impact from day one. Beyond the people and the tools, ZoomInfo is a company with a clear mission and the momentum to back it up. As someone in Talent Acquisition, I see firsthand the quality of people this company attracts and the genuine excitement candidates feel when they learn about the role and the culture. That says everything. When your own candidates are energized before they even join, you know you are working somewhere special. If you are wired for ownership, thrive in a high-energy environment, and want to work alongside people who genuinely want to see you succeed, ZoomInfo is your place. Here, you do not just contribute. You make things happen, fast.

Cons

The pace is fast and the expectations are high, but for the right person, that is a feature, not a bug. If you prefer a slower, more structured environment, this may take some adjustment. Come ready to own your work and move with purpose.

Thank you for taking the time to share such detailed and thoughtful feedback. It means a lot to me personally to hear that your experience at ZoomInfo has stood out so positively, especially given your background in Talent Acquisition. Your comments about autonomy, trust, and partnership with leadership are particularly meaningful. We work hard to create an environment where experts are empowered to lead, contribute, and make decisions with confidence, so it’s incredibly rewarding to hear that reflected in your day-to-day experience. We also deeply appreciate your perspective on the collaborative culture you’ve experienced across teams. The idea that people genuinely want to help each other succeed is something we care deeply about protecting as we continue to grow. It’s also great to hear your recognition of the investment we make in people, technology, and development. We believe giving teams access to strong tools, resources, and opportunities to grow is essential to helping people do their best work and build meaningful careers here. Thank you as well for calling out the pace and expectations with honesty and balance. ZoomInfo is a fast-moving environment, and we know that energy is what motivates many of the people who thrive here. Pros

ZoomInfo has an incredible company culture that truly stands out-- even working remotely, you feel connected and part of something bigger. The company has a strong focus on being a leader in its space and is constantly innovating, which keeps the work exciting and meaningful. There is a genuine willingness to let ideas and concepts flourish, and employees are empowered to contribute in real ways. I am coming up on four years here, which speaks for itself-- this is a place where you can grow, get promoted quickly, and build a real career. The development resources are outstanding, including McKinsey Leadership programs, internal leadership courses, and LinkedIn Learning. Managers are supportive and invested in your success which makes showing up to work exciting

Cons

At times, communication between departments can be a challenge at the individual contributor level, which can make cross-functional collaboration feel a bit siloed. Additionally, there is still work to be done around diversity in leadership-- increasing representation of people of color and women in leadership roles would make an already great culture even stronger.
