Pros

Most people know of ZoomInfo so cold calls feel a bit warmer. Was remote but since transitioning to hybrid which isn't the worst.

Cons

Honestly don't know where to begin. Either you work 60 hours a week, not take any PTO or you will ultimately fail. This message starts at the top by exec and all the managers below act as an echo chamber. Either you will drink the Kool-aid and act like ZoomInfo is the best thing since sliced bread, or you will be the black sheep. Those who work themselves to the ground are praised and anyone who wants anything close to a work life balance are treated like they "don't want it enough". Like come on, people shouldn't be working on their honeymoon especially when we supposably have unlimited PTO (which no one really takes) Start the day calling prospects in India and end the day call Australia, because "everyone needs zoominfo". Sales methodology for SDR and AEs alike basically bully prospects for not having ZI until they hop on a demo/buy. Management encourages borderline phone harassment. If one call didn't work, double dial, if that doesn't work CALL THEM 3x in a row. Unless you are a top performer, it feels like you will have a target on your back. Activity is tracked like a hawk and you will be micromanaged to the point of no return. I understand that to be successful, you will need to make sacrifices, but at the very least TREAT YOUR EMPLOYEES LIKE HUMANS. This is without going into detail about shady layoffs and countless false promises made. You can make solid money here but it will be at the expense of your sanity.

Pros

ZoomInfo has an incredible company culture that truly stands out-- even working remotely, you feel connected and part of something bigger. The company has a strong focus on being a leader in its space and is constantly innovating, which keeps the work exciting and meaningful. There is a genuine willingness to let ideas and concepts flourish, and employees are empowered to contribute in real ways. I am coming up on four years here, which speaks for itself-- this is a place where you can grow, get promoted quickly, and build a real career. The development resources are outstanding, including McKinsey Leadership programs, internal leadership courses, and LinkedIn Learning. Managers are supportive and invested in your success which makes showing up to work exciting

Cons

At times, communication between departments can be a challenge at the individual contributor level, which can make cross-functional collaboration feel a bit siloed. Additionally, there is still work to be done around diversity in leadership-- increasing representation of people of color and women in leadership roles would make an already great culture even stronger.
