Pros

The product is great, speaks for itself.

Cons

- Toxic corporate environment. - Terrible work/life balance. You are incentivized to work through holidays and weekends. It also felt quite often like employees were discouraged from using their PTO throughout the year, not just on blackout dates. Besides, having any blackout dates on the calendar in the first place is ridiculous. Don’t fall for the ‘unlimited’ time off they pitch you on, it’s the furthest thing from it. - Unethical business practices. Sales team is so hyper-focused on getting the deal no matter the cost. Working with frustrated & angry clients became a regular occurrence.

Thank you for your feedback. Over the past two years, we have made a concerted effort to improve our employees’ work/life balance. With employees across the globe from the West Coast of the U.S. to India, managing time zones can get complicated. However, we’re rolling out manager training that covers topics like helping your team members manage workload and effective resource allocation. For the Sales team in particular, we’ve instituted end of quarter no-internal-meetings week to help our employees balance their work load. We recently announced that we’ll be instituting two 2.5-hour no-meetings blocks per week company wide. Thanks again for your feedback, and we wish you all the best! – Chad Herring, ZoomInfo Chief HR Officer

Pros

Get stuff done culture. Really increased the talent density over time. Good people who genuinely care. Forward thinking on AI - most companies are not there

Cons

Pace can cause whiplash - but a lot of it is market conditions and the need to adapt

Pros

ZoomInfo has an incredible company culture that truly stands out-- even working remotely, you feel connected and part of something bigger. The company has a strong focus on being a leader in its space and is constantly innovating, which keeps the work exciting and meaningful. There is a genuine willingness to let ideas and concepts flourish, and employees are empowered to contribute in real ways. I am coming up on four years here, which speaks for itself-- this is a place where you can grow, get promoted quickly, and build a real career. The development resources are outstanding, including McKinsey Leadership programs, internal leadership courses, and LinkedIn Learning. Managers are supportive and invested in your success which makes showing up to work exciting

Cons

At times, communication between departments can be a challenge at the individual contributor level, which can make cross-functional collaboration feel a bit siloed. Additionally, there is still work to be done around diversity in leadership-- increasing representation of people of color and women in leadership roles would make an already great culture even stronger.
