Pros
- Work Environment: Overall environment is good. Teams are open and collaborative. Office is spacious and has good facilities. Colleagues are cooperative. - Work Culture: Good work culture. Lots of events and celebrations. Two grand parties every year and many team outings and goodies as well. Managers are cooperative when it comes to leaves and 3 - 4 weeks WFH approvals. - Leaves: 32 yearly leaves and good maternity/paternity policies as well. - Leadership: Most managers are friendly and helps you in your professional growth. PD Coaches are always there to assist you in any situation, - Compensation and Bonuses: Pay is good and competitive for each roles. Good yearly increments as compared to other companies. - Free transportation. Overall ZS is a good consultancy in terms of work culture compensation and pay. Recommended for people seeking opportunities in consultancy and management. It is even a better choice for non CS-IT folks as it is easier to get in ZS even without non tech background.
Cons
- Poor work-life balance: Long working hours (11:00 - 9:00) and too much work load. Most projects are USA, CAN and EU based so meetings are usually around 8:00 PM. - Less career growth opportunities: You will mostly learn only soft skills here. Less opportunities for technical growth. Most of the time you will be working on Excel or updating PPTs even if you are from tech background. Overall it is not recommended if you don't want to work 10-11 hrs most days. Not recommended if you are looking into technical roles or Engineering roles. It is a consultancy and have culture similar to a consultancy and not a tech company. Workload is so much that it is even difficult to prepare for switching company.
