Pros

Used to have great senior management to start with. They were mostly people from the US Offices in Pune on rotation. A collegial environment with a good energy flowing around. Easy to socialize and find friends. Most of the office is still young, so easy opportunities to enjoy life. A good place to start working. Emphasis is given to organization of work, QC of work, and general presentation skills that leads to professional development.

Cons

The standards deteriorated very quickly. The firm was posting HUGE profits from the India office by serving the US clients, hence they changed their strategy. They chose not to open up the consulting practice to Indian clients and develop the office as a full fledged back office. This hit the employee morale, most of whom were awesome graduates from the best engineering schools in India, the Indian Institutes of Technology. The hiring practice of the firm also took a huge hit as the later hires were not worth the salt. The nature of the work is also in a very narrow margin and there is no diversity of work available.

Pros

- Exposure to large-scale projects and enterprise clients - Opportunity to work on modern technologies and data platforms - Strong technical talent within teams

Cons

- Leadership and management practices are heavily influenced by offshore working styles, which can create misalignment with local work expectations in the U.S. - Work-life balance can be difficult, with expectations around extended hours and frequent overlap with offshore teams - Limited flexibility around boundaries outside standard working hours - High workload and pressure can make long-term sustainability challenging for some employees - Team inclusivity and engagement can sometimes feel uneven, with opportunities for more balanced collaboration across all team members - Retention challenges observed among employees not aligned with the prevailing work style
