Stagnant Managers, most of them home grown like frogs in the well, they do not understand the basic needs of the clients. They do not understand the changing needs of the industry. Repeat projects in developing few reports or data marts they have brunt Thier hands and learnt. There is no training provided for Freshers, they are straight into projects and slog day and night with out having a clear picture of the requirements. There are lot of quality issues in the code developed, testing is poor. Most of the the time is spent on fixing the own defects than on improvements. The appraisal system is perceptional, there are no real metric that measures your performance, if your manager feels you are doing good you are good.
