Pros
Great if you are interested in health care There is an emphasis on training/development and no expectation that you come in with deep industry expertise - I came in pretty raw and learned a lot in my first few years Very limited travel Laid back culture
Cons
Little or no exposure to industries outside of health care (varies by office) Client contacts are often not at very senior levels of their respective firms Client contacts are also often not even remotely impressive/intelligent individuals Working for some internally promoted managers can be a travesty - some aren't good people managers Some people (especially younger folks) take the laid back culture too far - I would forget that I was working at a respectable firm when seeing associates around me wearing jeans, flip-flops, and t-shirts
