Serving the demands of unreasonable, entitled, unappreciative "members" of the association created a cliquish, exclusive overall atmosphere that filtered across the culture of the entire organization. The top echelon of management had expectations and demands of the employees that they themselves didn't follow to any degree whatsoever. Conflicts of interest abounded.
