Pros

Major industry player, decent campus, relatively flexible hours, pay was good.

Cons

The Global marketing department can't keep global talent to save it's life. Major churn, no interest in building employee skills, investing in employees. Asked for help with Chinese after being offered a promotion, was told "try listening to podcasts". No English onboarding or contract, no help off boarding (even after they begged me to stay and offered 6 month return no questions asked), useless HR. Lots of guanxi hires, minimal to nonexistent female leadership (dept head once casually said to another male colleague, in front of another female manager "women don't know how to do business", also yelled at female head of a team in front of entire office. she quit on the spot), something like 6 foriegners in the entire 200+ dept (half of whom are actively job seeking for post bonus season). Abused org survey tied to compensation, you are expected to lie. Management will pull you aside if you say any bad (read: honest) about your team or dept. When 1/3 of my team (8/24 people) quit or transfered in less than 2 months, management was confused about why they couldn't retain talent/keep people happy and how they didn't see it coming.
