A good organisation to work for - Office Assistant World Food Programme Employee Review

Pros

WFP' mission is, on a general level is to meet the emergency needs of victims of natural and man-made disasters, displaced people, and more generally the world's hungry poor. One really feels the engagement of senior staff in achieving this goal and the strong ethical direction taken by the organisation.

Cons

Unfortunately, work contracts nowadays are often short term, renewable, whether for consultants or support staff. This can be demotivating in the long run as one cannot really plan long term.
