Pros

Sharing my observations after working 8 years in wipro 1) Good opportunity to learn and work on cutting-edge technologies. 2) very good work life balance 3) Best intranal training, plenty of options to get training (technical and behavioral). 4) Beautiful big green office campus. 5) opportunities to get onsite.( Before pandemic, now situation changed) . 6) Good work culture/ environment, helpful employees, Managers.

Cons

1) low salary, payment is very lower than the market. 2) poor salary hike, after getting good appraisal ratings also you will 3 to 8 percent hike. Some people got 0 hike also. 3) no promotion, i saw people are working 8 to 15 years in same band , but wipro hire lower experience less skilled person on higher band. 4) Hiring police, wipro pay less salary hike but hire from outaide with double and triple salary than the current employee salary. 5) internal politics, hike , promotion not depend on performance, its depend on how close with your manger or same region or language with your manger . 6) Huge attrition rate, in last 1.5 years I have seen 8 team members quite out of 12 members.

Pros

Positive and supporting work culture where employees feel valued and respected. Team environment is very friendly and colleagues are always willing to help each other, which creates a collaborative atmosphere.

Cons

I would not 100% consider it as cons as its common thru most MNC's. But opportunities for fast career progression can vary depending on the project or team.

Pros

There are no pros to working for Wipro.

Cons

This company is a sh** show. There are too many managers and less and less people to do the actual work. They have people that negotiate contracts and then expect the company to make money. In reality, most of the time the contract is basically giving the house away. It is the employees that suffer. When the contracts go south, they cut more people. Those people are then screwed over. Be warned!! If your position ends on the 25th of the month, your health insurance also ends on the 25th of the month. Note that the premium you paid, is not pro-rated, justifying the end of coverage on the 25th. You still pay the usual premium, which should then have your coverage run through the end of the month. If they can destroy a person, they will. They want more and more and more from their employees. While they preach all this mental health, work life balance, it's a sham. They have no regard for the well being of the employee, which carries over to the employee's family.
