Pros

* You have flexibiites when you need them

Cons

* last couple of yrs, politics has become very high * People values have disappeared * only if you make noise and project your work (however insignificant or devoid of results), only then can your survive and grow. Rest of the people, however much competent and performing, have to either change or fade away * HR has no say; infact 90% HR is suppsoed to be your line mangers responsibility, and with so much of work transaction, this is completely ignored * Work culture is all about how many transactions you can manage, not about putting processes to reduce the cause of energy guzzling operations & transactions * No appreciation for innovative, path breaking work, as every role has to perform on numbers, and give ROI in 6 months

Pros

Positive and supporting work culture where employees feel valued and respected. Team environment is very friendly and colleagues are always willing to help each other, which creates a collaborative atmosphere.

Cons

I would not 100% consider it as cons as its common thru most MNC's. But opportunities for fast career progression can vary depending on the project or team.

Pros

There are no pros to working for Wipro.

Cons

This company is a sh** show. There are too many managers and less and less people to do the actual work. They have people that negotiate contracts and then expect the company to make money. In reality, most of the time the contract is basically giving the house away. It is the employees that suffer. When the contracts go south, they cut more people. Those people are then screwed over. Be warned!! If your position ends on the 25th of the month, your health insurance also ends on the 25th of the month. Note that the premium you paid, is not pro-rated, justifying the end of coverage on the 25th. You still pay the usual premium, which should then have your coverage run through the end of the month. If they can destroy a person, they will. They want more and more and more from their employees. While they preach all this mental health, work life balance, it's a sham. They have no regard for the well being of the employee, which carries over to the employee's family.
