Pros
Speaking for WF SF only: While the company has awesome brands to work with, great PTO (10-15 days depending on tenure), "techie" snacks, and decent 401K matching... the perks quickly get overshadowed by the non-collaborative culture. Despite the toxicity, there were still a handful of great people who genuinely wanted to try their best, care for another, and find solutions to difficult problems.
Cons
Leadership has a difficult time setting strategy, agreeing on strategy, or prioritizing work thus wasting a lot of time. In general, bad behavior is encouraged and teams have a tendency to find ways to blame one another instead of spending the time to find solutions (set by leadership example from director level and above). Turnover was also extremely high due to this - half of the team completely changed 2-3x in the 1.5 years that I was there. Career advancement is not prioritized and teams are not set up to succeed due to unclear expectations. The loudest (or the brown-nosers) get advancement, not the ones producing meaningful work. If you thrive in supportive work environments that are lead by empathy…this is not the place for you.
