Pros

WTW was a great company to work with, at first. I got assigned to a team in Talents and Rewards (T&R) and the folks in the team are quite chill and relaxed to work with. They started this guild/ classroom within the company setup where select champions conduct knowledge transfer and teach others new concepts, or even tried and tested approaches which I enjoyed. I like how DEVOPS are very helpful when we raise tickets and ask assistance anything from Azure related concerns, to deployments. Though there are a few DEVOPS members that are reeking with too much arrogance, but we need them so we'll just go along with their annoying jokes and backhanded complements. I was happy when WTW offered free vouchers for Azure certifications, but I noticed that it is underutilized, I talked to some of the more senior developers and architects, and I got a feedback from them , the person said "Certifications are useless in the real world" I took AZ203 and passed, I didn't listed to the person. (hehe) The company has a lot of untapped potential, POs trying to incorporate AI into the applications, this is a step to the right direction and long term wise, will help the company secure its future. Team work wise, very positive in the team and T&R as a group. Minus a few individuals (the grumpy old ones), I also love the collaboration and the sharing of knowledge and cooperation between teams, and even teams from other projects. Culture wise, I can say that this group is warm to people regardless of affiliations, gender, religion, sexual orientation, etc. But, there is still a lot to improve, but HR is aggressive when it comes to these and I support them.

Cons

A lot of clout in the teams, I feel that scrum masters are not really useful and have outlived their worth in the T&R model. I watched and observed a few of them, prepandemic, they are very good in masking their activities and pretend that they are doing something, but I started to notice that they regularly just throw skepticism and answer inquiries with rhetorical questions. Prepandemic, they seem to do a lot, but during pandemic, checking confluence and Jira, I just see that all they do are do documentations, write emails, and take Emergency Leaves with the lousiest of the lousy excuses. Maybe I'm wrong, but a lot of members of the team feel the same way too. RTO/ Back to office + the great resignation, I'd like to go to the office 2-4x a month, I don't want to go 8x a month. I know there are PEZA rules and others that I don't know about but I feel that people have proven that they can WFH for a prolonged period of times and with discipline, one can deliver. I hope there is compromise. I heard there were a new batch of resignees like 8 to 10 or more year employees. Some were very important, some of them not so much.Tthere was one person na lahat ng tinanong ko, di rin nila alam ginagawa, so I guess, he's not that important kasi no one knows what he does pero more than 8 years na raw na WTW employee. Survey cycle is the most important season for a lot of teams, work life balance is thrown out the window during these times, but one can also look at it as an opportunity to grow, even get noticed. This is both a pro and con.

Pros

Learning everything about Life insurance, annuities and health

Cons

They are quite two-faced. Thry gas you up thinking you are doing well then turn around and terminate you for any slight. For instance---you must be on camera during training but we were told if we were sick or not feeling too well, we can ask for accomodation. With the understanding that it would be taken into consideration. Well...it isnt. They throw it back in your face. They do not like criticism. Say something wrong, you're done. They listen in on the classes and even if they think you said something the complete opposite of what was said and taken out of context, they do not care about the truth for you bruised their ego. Do not believe them when they tell you you are doing good during training. Its more about how much you want to be under WTW's influence. In other words, NO CRITICISM IS ALLOWED. I would write more but this should suffice.
