Pros

• Supportive colleagues that create a sense of camaraderie • Solid mentorship in early career (if you know where to look) • Generous PTO, bereavement leave, and actuarial exam support can make WTW feel like a good place to learn and grow for the long haul

Cons

• Incredibly slow start when onboarding that can potentially hinder meeting billable hour goal(s) • Lack of comprehensive training for analysts/new hires creates bottlenecks in projects and often leads to very serious issues with delivery or compliance down the road, risking long-term client relationships (putting a series of hour-long training calls on calendars during peak busy season is not an engaging or effective way to disseminate this information) • No comprehensive guidance for how AI can be integrated beyond "summarizing emails" or "document review" and leadership seems to be stumped about this as well; the basic enterprise Copilot subscription can only do so much in comparison to other tools (GPT, Claude) out there • Remote first culture (though it has its perks) creates issues in communication and coordination • Slow career growth and opaque promotion timelines that wildly differ between offices

Pros

Great teamwork. Overall very nice experience with interactions in other teams as well. Healthy & competitive PTO plan. In my team, management is wonderful, not requiring a person to put work over family - they encourage family/ work balance.

Cons

Wish there was a PPO health plan in the offered plans. Only has high-deductible plans. However, this year added an offering for supplemental AFLAC plan to help with that high deductible that is reasonably priced.
