Pros
When they used to be PwC you could at least have bragging rights on the CV
Cons
Clearly a lot of people up top who got there at a time you didn’t have to do much other than exist and rubber stamp, that’s not including the ones who dated, married or inherited their way to the top. They breed a culture of put up or shut up, refuse to actually deal with real issues and instead ship out “mental health awareness” and “diversity and allyship” training. Very cliquey and if your partner works here, there’s a 99% they’re already cheating. The company likes to pretend they’re advancing with technology but they have zero investment and mediocre products that are losing money and because they refuse to give opportunities to anyone but their buddies, they stand no chance at advancement. Good luck with your “tech” and excel sheets though. Deep down, still a bunch of accountants with very little life experience at the end of the day. Let’s be honest, anyone still at this company is only here because they’re expecting a redundancy payment or have been promised a promotion by their buddies up top. Not that the pay is anything worthwhile anymore anyway. Wish I didn’t fall into the unfortunate batch that moved over with this company but not planning on staying long like 80% of the staff m.
