The fast paced atmosphere helped me grow a lot in leadership, customer service, and multitasking skills while gaining experience in operations, merchandising, and coaching. Cons
The work environment can be extremely stressful during high traffic periods, especially in tourist-heavy locations where staffing and payroll do not always match the workload. Management expectations are high, and there is constant pressure around sales metrics, conversion, and task completion even during slower seasons. Communication and support can vary a lot depending on upper leadership, and burnout is common for long term employees balancing customer service, operations, shipment, and staffing challenges all at once.
