Pros

Before going for long list of complaining. - Colleagues where really good and helping -High end equipments are proccurred at pretty descent rate ( but thing is that essence of using that equipment are gone by the way how it is given for use. Details are below in cons section)

Cons

I am not sure if the recent five star given employees in Glassdoor have ever really worked in Valeo or it is just another PR work. -Firstly i was not given any offer letter.(I had got only the screen shot) -I was told that there are no bonds. I even have written mail confirmation. But once i joined i was forced to sign one year bond or pay 36-40 percent of your annual income even if you are an experienced candiate.(This is hidden in the NDA part so please read it before u seen like a detective) -So lesson learned is don't ever trust HR words until you get it in paper. Not even in mails. -When i questioned on the bonds, they tell that it Valeo HR policy. And when you ask them to show it ..You will never ever get it. -I as told that if i join before Oct would get the Diwali bonus. The funny thing is that you will get Diwali bonus only after serving one year.(So again don't trust there words) -Your Earned leaves are not credited pro data basis it will be only credited at the end of the year.which means 2020's leaves you will be enjoying this year. -You will see the lack of trust every where which in turn result in micro management especially from policies rolled out from HR side. For example initially when the covid crisis started they we where asked to log daily the activity both in Team tracking and Workplace. and even intially there was plan to bring back employees back to work but later it was dropped off(during Jun 2020). We had more than 70 percent attendance by the end of Feb 2021 So you know how employee friendly is Valeo. -Again it is the same with the exit process. Once you resign you will have to work definelty for 3 months or else those will be deducted .Funny thing is that they won't tell that it is like a buy out but they will tell you are being relieved earlier. -And still am fighting for my Bonus which has to be fairly given based on the number of days i have worked .I guess it will be also drowned under Valeo HR process whichbis no where written down and only HR can see this invisible policy. -Advice is if you are resigning complete 3 months and go .For eg. do it like your resignation date comes July first week or Jan first week or else your performance bonus is doomed. And if you are joining as new employee if you have known better option go for it. -One thing my hardware friend used to tell is that even for strip of wire you have to raise ticket and some time wire will also be counted.(dont think it is 2 m wire even 1 cm wire will be counted) Still if you want to hear more. In the Valeo Phase 2,You can see the clear distinction by looking into the each floor. -Second Floor is the software floor which is fairly decorated .You have well maintained cafeteria's TT inside the room.Sitting lounge. Carpeted floor. The Budget allocation is also different for them. -Ground and First floor is average where Hardware people sit. You have cafetria. No colorful themes. No colorful mat, No T.T. -Third Floor- is the worst where poor Mechanical friends sit.

Pros

Great place to learn and gain hands-on automotive experience. People are generally friendly and easy to get along with, and you’ll be exposed to a lot of technologies and real-world problem solving very quickly.

Cons

Upper management is disorganized and heavily political. Decision making is often chaotic, priorities constantly change, and there is very little work-life balance. Long hours and high stress can burn people out quickly.
