Great place to work...NOT! - Human Resources Manager Universal Studios Employee Review

Pros

Worked in Merchandise, loved it, worked up to Lead position. In retrospect, I should've pursued legal action for wrongful termination.

Cons

Had medical issue, came back after Approved Leave of Absence, given crappy 4 hour shifts, accused of theft (without proof or ANY justification, only an accusation by an unnamed "anonymous" person, called in told I was fired.)

Pros

They are very helpful when it comes to your growth in the company. Benefits are good and pay is decent! Also why weekly pay and you can come in for hours if needed

Cons

Shifts can be short at least at my venue. The longest shift you’ll have is 8hrs, minus your lunch about 7.25 hrs. Sometimes you get shifts of 5hrs. Part timers don’t really get much benefits besides health and park tickets. No pto , no bereavement etc.
