Pros

Friendly and organised management Friendly coworkers Great atmosphere *Almost* unlimited snacks and drinks Lunch money each month to eat at the office building ~3 times per week Flexible working hours for student-workers and flexible work-location/type (in-office/hybrid/remote and the ability to work from their office in another country for a while)

Cons

Salary is competitive but could be higher Career opportunities are difficult to get in this position as this position itself does not lead any higher but can serve as a starting position to get into a slightly different one but there is a lot of competition from coworkers and outside combined (there is no clear path up from this position, you have to make a jump and then you can start climbing the ladder)

Pros

-Flexible WFH environment -Decent work life balance and good benefits for the US based employees

Cons

-CEO and CFO insist on being based in New York, when the Company is based in SF. Earnings calls are at 5:30am because screw you West Coast. -CFO will stop at nothing until all the G&A, Accounting, Tax, and, Finance team members are located in Bangalore in an effort to cut costs. Offshoring is massive here and will only continue to expand. -Constant anxiety about layoffs. Sometimes they announce mass layoffs, but more often do it in smaller waves so as to not rattle the cage. -Top heavy org structure. There's probably as many or more SVP, VPs, Sr. Dir level folks as there are individual contributors/leads.
