Pros

- good work/life balance - opportunities to network and bonding activities as well as sporadical learning talks, i.e. Museum zoom calls or even regular meditation calls - Managers have regular one-on-ones where they check about your desired trajectory and how you're doing - Fun and diverse projects in Accelerate Solutions team - Depending on your home base office location, they will have catered lunches daily (covid-pending, depending on office) - flexible WFH policy as of right now - "Best ideas win" -- suggestions are welcome even if you are not a senior employee - exciting partnerships and tech in Unity's future

Cons

- Like all companies, it can be a little hard to stay connected during quarantine/WFH - pay could be more competitive but at least there are scheduled compensation reviews - there is a diversity & inclusion team in the company but in the few projects I have worked on so far, I am still the only female, let alone female developer in those teams

Pros

-Flexible WFH environment -Decent work life balance and good benefits for the US based employees

Cons

-CEO and CFO insist on being based in New York, when the Company is based in SF. Earnings calls are at 5:30am because screw you West Coast. -CFO will stop at nothing until all the G&A, Accounting, Tax, and, Finance team members are located in Bangalore in an effort to cut costs. Offshoring is massive here and will only continue to expand. -Constant anxiety about layoffs. Sometimes they announce mass layoffs, but more often do it in smaller waves so as to not rattle the cage. -Top heavy org structure. There's probably as many or more SVP, VPs, Sr. Dir level folks as there are individual contributors/leads.
