      Great company that lives up to its values - Senior User Experience Designer Unity Employee Review

      Pros

      A very welcoming company, open and sincerely committed to continuously improve and provide the best to its customers and users. Among its core values are the principles of putting the users first, aiming for the best ideas independently of where it comes from, and being 'in it together'. I feel that at every level, these values are lived. People are attentive to each other, as much as possible listen to each other and strive to collaborate. Career perspectives look great, as the possibility to learn and grow.

      Cons

      None so far: colleagues are great and the company seems transparent enough. Perhaps a bit messy in terms of organization, but it is also a company that grew very fast and is finding its foot again.

      Pros

      -Flexible WFH environment -Decent work life balance and good benefits for the US based employees

      Cons

      -CEO and CFO insist on being based in New York, when the Company is based in SF. Earnings calls are at 5:30am because screw you West Coast. -CFO will stop at nothing until all the G&A, Accounting, Tax, and, Finance team members are located in Bangalore in an effort to cut costs. Offshoring is massive here and will only continue to expand. -Constant anxiety about layoffs. Sometimes they announce mass layoffs, but more often do it in smaller waves so as to not rattle the cage. -Top heavy org structure. There's probably as many or more SVP, VPs, Sr. Dir level folks as there are individual contributors/leads.
