Flexible work hours for my department and good work environment. I had great mentors and supervisors that were very helpful and honest which helped me better my job performance.
Cons
Even though I loved the work, a lot of the work may sometimes have to happen on your own time especially if you're a small department.
Great health insurance - I'm told it's really quite fire (no lie)
Great location - love Westwood (sandwiched by Brentwood, Bel Air, and Beverly Hills)
Union is tremendously supportive

Campus dining options are kinda weak - breaks my heart to eat the same thing every day
