Pros
To make a different in children's life, not only academically but emotionally to build their selfesteem in order to accomplish their full potential and goal in life. every students have a talent regardless of their ability or comprehension, therefore, its up to teachers or staffs to discover a student's talent.
Cons
some students come from broken homes, and difficult circumstances. I felt teachers or staffs limited or prohibited to get involved to talk or encourage kids, i understad for protection reasons which makes it hard for me to listen and refere them to thier consulour. some students feel comfortable talking to some one they trust, but if the opportunity is not given to staffs then students left in the dark.
