Major Student Behavior Issues - Anonymous employee Tulsa Public Schools Employee Review

Many classrooms have extreme classroom behavior issues. Principals do not consistently back up and provide support to teachers. Examples...students demonstrate violent behaviors such as throwing furniture...teachers call office for support...office tells teachers to deal with it. Teachers are told to send students with extreme behavior issues to "buddy teacher" down the hall. This only creates disturbances in their room. Schools need administrators and time-out classrooms to handle these situations.
