Pros
Bagel Friday, assistance from peers, somewhat consistent hours, overtime available, generally friendly people. I have a very mixed review on Truly Nolen. Some days I feel like quitting and other days I feel like everything is going smooth. It almost feels like an abusive relationship.
Cons
Lack of communication is a big issue here. Whether it be with appointments that aren't scheduled properly or information that's not clear, there's definitely an issue with communication. Team leaders always tell you they are available to ask questions, but are NEVER at their desks. They all huddle in a single office and talk and laugh. They do provide cell phones and are willing to help sometimes, but mostly get upset and want to push the call on someone else. You're made to feel as if you are doing something wrong by asking for help. Managers and administration can be very rude when you call them as well, if you can reach them. The customer support center can be a high stress job when escalation calls come in. No one wants to own up to providing service, even when you try as hard as you possibly can. After a call is taken you typically have 3 minutes after to wrap up that call, but when busy you can be pushed into calls while still working on an account. This can cause a lot of trouble and confusion, when you're trying to schedule an appointment while also reaching out to managers and so forth. In summary, you can be the hardest worker with the highest integrity and greatest work ethic, but there's little chance to be noticed or feel as if you're doing everything right.
