Pros

- It used to be remote which was arguably the only pro, but they required everybody to be in office.

Cons

- Office in Vancouver is surrounded by fentanyl addicts, and you are at a serious risk of getting mugged (I've seen someone having their phone stolen). - There's a timer on the tool you work which pauses after 8 seconds, so if you need to fact-check something on Google, after this amount of time it will count as if you are not working. There's no time even for you to stretch (I've counted) before it pauses. It kind of made sense when it was remote, however, this practice continued even after we were required to be in the office, and they have supervisors there. - Performance reviews happen every now and then in which they will warn you of your "inactive time" which is caused by the above, even if you meet their targets. - There are random tests that if you do not pass, you're fired. - It's minimum wage.

Pros

The work isn't too tough. The people in the office are skilled and pleasant. There are decent benefits and you can work from home for 2 days.

Cons

The pay is bad. Decent for when you first start but raises are small and infrequent. Bonuses are even smaller and more infrequent. We were fully remote but slowly have been forced back into office for no good reason.
