Pros
Working from home, though this is currently being slowly retracted. I also had the luck of being in a team of highly skilled and team-oriented professionals, which meant making friends in the process. Working on multiple projects also provides a ton of experience in Games QA and the entire industry's ins and outs.
Cons
The salary is incredibly low compared to the industry standards. Managers are over-worked and also underpaid, meaning they naturally have a hard time keeping up with people's needs. Tons of empty promises related to salary updates. Lack of possibilities for an upscale career path within the company. No bonuses or benefits of some sort. Almost no hardware provided. General employee dissatisfaction can be numbing. Overtime is never paid, and often required. Poor management-client communication always results in blame reaching the lower level employees.
