Pros
-large, stable, fast growing company. -very young environment, friendly colleagues -impressive senior management team. When you see these people in person (meetings, etc), you will know what I mean. -excellent career advancement opportunities. You also have the ability to switch paths internally if you are looking to change your career path within the company. -great training program. You get to shadow behind many employees that have been with the company for a long time- you also get to travel for some trianing. It's nice to get to see what goes on behind the scenese. -compensation based on performance- you hold the key to your future. -even though the company has grown tremendously over the last few years, it still has the small company feel. -the company shows their appreciation by hosting annual training sessions. You get to fly to a different location each time to socialize with your peers, learn new things, and you get wined and dined in the most upscale hotels and restaurants. Definitely a perk!
Cons
-the hours are slightly longer than the standard 9-5, but nothing crazy. It's a sales job- if you are looking for a sales job you know that we are essentially "always" available for our client's if that's what it takes to make the sale -the first year is a little tough, but in most cases, you are a recent college grad and have not had much job experience so of course it takes some getting used to. If you can look at your successfull colleagues and peers who all started off in the same position, and see how far they have come and advanced, you can see the bigger picture and know that all your hard work will pay off, and it definitely does!
