Pros

OK base salary (though probably depends on what you actually ask for at the interview); Helpful and nice colleagues, international environment; Get to know localization business from the inside; Good location

Cons

Mail overload - hundreds daily; Very repetitive deadline-driven work with no clear ending (no satisfaction from job well done); Low number of vacation days (minimum required by law); Low on benefits, low bonuses; VERY process-driven (to ridiculous extents); Project managers are always the "bad guys" when anything (anything) goes wrong; No place to rest in the office, and you'd feel bad about "doing nothing" anyway; Usually no thank you for doing the job well, for numerous unpaid overtimes, and being pro-active and actually trying to change something, while bashed for minor errors or overlooks. Even if there is a rare thank you, it won't show on your salary or bonuses, so the only motivation for good work is avoidance of criticism. Managers say they care about employees, but they are overworked and snappy, and only (harshly) comment on mistakes or overlooks as a result, and enforce minute processes way too strictly and blindly (we had to desperately laugh sometimes)

Pros

The work isn't too tough. The people in the office are skilled and pleasant. There are decent benefits and you can work from home for 2 days.

Cons

The pay is bad. Decent for when you first start but raises are small and infrequent. Bonuses are even smaller and more infrequent. We were fully remote but slowly have been forced back into office for no good reason.
