Pros
- Quite a few perks that other companies don’t have. Boots, tools, uniforms, laptop, safety gear all paid for. - Experienced and down to earth leadership with skills and time in the field. Who are very supportive and knowledgeable. - Excellent tech support and resources to help accomplish the mission. Manuals, service bulletins, updates and instructions for troubleshooting and installation. Easy access to parts and supplies offerings. - On boarding was comprehensive and helped a great deal. - Very positive culture community and attitudes. - HVAC service department is ran pretty well and the work is great, expectations are realistic. Best commercial HVAC equipment on the market IMO. -They claim to promote from within and build employees and help them achieve their career goals. This appears to be true for some but I haven’t been at Trane long enough to see for myself. I will put it to the test in the future, I have my own goals.
Cons
-There’s an excessive amount of phone apps and programs to navigate and use. This is pretty overwhelming. I’d really like to see it consolidated. - Trane is a big company and it’s hard to comprehend all the moving parts and pieces. There’s a whole list of resources for techs but it’s hard to keep track of the means of access and methods of use. - Although the Service department is ran well, it’s HVAC Service and there will always be hiccups. The work will always be hard. - Pretty heavy on the diversity, equity and inclusion advertisement at the corporate level. It’s somewhat of a broken record. I see all races and genders, ages and skill levels at my branch. Everyone gets along well and gets their job done.
