(Singapore) Stay away unless you know what you want to achieve here - Project Manager Toyota Tsusho Employee Review

Pros

Flexible working arrangements but Japan is trying to force SG to revert to 100% work from office so it's just a matter of time before it's gone. Worth the stint but only if you're joining Supply Chain Division, or Food and Agribusiness Department.

Cons

No 360 degree feedback system to hold management accountable. For example, a management reporting function that was originally done in Japan was transferred to Singapore, but no proper handover/training was done. There was no appropriate channel to feedback without fear of consequences. Rules for thee but not for me, favoritism is rife, so don't be surprised if someone's requests for support are rejected swiftly but others are accepted. If you want to learn about how to play politics, this is the place. Lastly, pay attention to past reviews (e.g. Aug 2015) which may still be relevant and ask HR about it so you can come to your own conclusions about what kind of talent the organization aims to retain in the long run.
