Pros
Hands on experience, plenty of overtime, decent pay after some time, roads to a good salary if management is pursued, decent health insurance.
Cons
Often unsafe working environment, long hours, very few amenities or incentives, high stress environment, constant pressure/criticism/interference/belittlement from district managers and above. Very few advancement opportunities, regardless of the training you receive inside and outside of the business (including college degree).
