Pros
When I first started, there were multiple admin teams, but those are all gone now. If you work in person, I guess you get the perk of like, an occasional lunch or outing. If you work remote, none whatsoever.
Cons
Where to even begin? Abysmal pay, minimal benefits, complete lack of respect for staff and clients, extremely exploitative and aggressive style of getting clients. I had multiple clients tell me that billing threatened to report them to ICE if they didn’t pay. The caseload is obscene - at one point I had a caseload of 500. Every day clients call absolutely furious bc their cases are getting neglected bc there simply isn’t enough time to do them. Dozens of clients with a year or more without contact. They take soooo many cases that simply aren’t eligible for the services. Your license is genuinely at risk if you choose to work for them. And that’s just the more serious issues - you have to do the admin work and reports that normally the managing attorneys at any other firm would do themselves. From what I can see, management mostly spends their time doing media, photo shoots, and harassing any staff member who happens to blink at them wrong. This job gave me actual stress nightmares for months. Avoid at all costs!!!!
