Cons
No fixed working pattern or set days off, as a member of management I would expect this, to be able to run the days a lot better. As a member of management, you are expected to do it all for hardly any recognition. Only people who are on friendly terms with the senior management team seem to be the ones who progress. Their head office and shop floor are completely separated and you can really feel the difference between them. Head office employees will often pop into stores to shop and you can feel how they think they are above you. They also send head office employees to work on the shop floor about 3 days a year, to get a feel for ‘where it all happens’ but they just come in and treat it as a fun day out
