      Pros

      Global Recognition Work life balance Average work load but it depends on project and Manager So many clients, so you can get a chance to work with product based companies, if you're lucky, you may get onsite opportunity Good Campus, inclusion Legit procedure You get chance for upskilling and certification

      Cons

      Compensation is really not good, It's such a huge company, earns a good profit but pay coins to their employees, only the higher management enjoyes the revenue, it's major con. Micro Management in some projects They don't have quality of projects/work. Lucky if you're working on something good, mostly support project work. they have 5 days work from office, really frustrating They hire for labour work mostly

      Pros

      Large client base. Talented people, have "cracked the code" on offshoring development and support.

      Cons

      For anyone used to working in US-based firms, the culture and politics will be difficult to understand and navigate. Internal policies and systems focus on the offshore delivery center model. Roles in the US do not fit into that mold, and obtaining approvals for simple expenses can require weeks and insanely high approval chains given the size of TCS. I needed approval from a global division head (a CEO direct-report) just to pay for a short training course. Missions of different departments are not clearly defined, so overlap and conflict are common.
