Pros
Takeda does an amazing job at keeping the campus very well manicured. The grass is always cut, the flowers are in bloom, and the garden is full of amazing fruits and vegetables.
Cons
Takeda boasts of its integrity, honesty, ethics, and fairness. Management is constantly reminding their employees how wonderful it is to work there but the truth of the matter is Takeda is cloaked in secrecy, questionable ethical decisions related to its finances, and nepotism. When people from the outside come in and begin to question the status quo or offer suggestions to make necessary changes, management quickly stifles the individual. Any challenges to management's judgment will quickly ensure that you will not move anywhere in this organization. Those who are leading the finance/accounting group have demonstrated time and again their incompetency , and inability to run this department, not to mention that if you are not "in" with these individuals you might as well forget any idea of promotion or upward movement. The culture of the finance department is to stay quiet, collect a good paycheck, and don't ask questions. This is the perfect place to hide in corporate america. Change will only come when the shared service department is finally shut down and the jobs are moved to Boston, where everything else has gone.
