Pros
Benefits, commutable distance, good IT department and the techs respond in a timely fashion, good enterprise systems in place, 5 days per month in office.
Cons
Low tier pharma company. Frequent layoffs. Not a very interesting pipeline. Looking to buy assets from other companies to internalize them. Invisible HR. Takes days to get a response to any request. DEI ad nauseam. Many toxic departments. Research: they got rid of an entire department only to then hire again. Some employees were offered spots in Cambridge but had to "interview" again. Finance: layoffs and turnover with many inexperienced employees that look like they just graduated from college. Pharm Sci: "Transformation" ad nauseam. Senior leadership pushy, toxic and career hungry. Incompetent and clueless team, portfolio, and group leads, PM's not valued. Favoritism, abuse, and sabatoge by managers. Senior leaders pushed out of group. CooP: clueless and just taking up space. Regulatory: toxic and high turnover with roles posted and open for over a year. Medical Affairs: reorged and layoffs in the last 1-2 years. AI ad nauseam!! Overall, lots of layoffs but the long timers and toxic folks still remain!
