Pros
- benefits - decent compensation for job role - "advancement" opportunities - TD ownership plan ( they match your stock investment after 2 years of employment)
Cons
- every since Bharat Masrani took over as CEO the company has gone downhill. They adopted a leaner and fitter model (fired a bunch of people, and Bharat received a 10% bonus hike after firing all that staff ) - only focus on their metrics at the end of the day. - Before TD cared about the customer first and sales second but this has changed steadily over the last 2 years. - Management looks at staff like a number and do very little to help and are not understanding - Personal Improvement Plans (PIP) the second you are below site targets - advancement opportunities are bogus - need to know someone - TMs and GMs are never busy and expect you to take back to back calls all day and the second you take an unscheduled break (only allotted 8 mins/ 8 hour shift) they are down your throat about it.
